Camp Chaos is a meditative and provocative exploration of Matthew Camp’s formative sexual memories. As a hybrid documentary/experimental film/art project, it uses sex to blend the real and the fantastical in a way that feels like a true and authentic portrait of a man’s most intimate sexual landscape. A time capsule of queer relationships and dating in a post-dating and social media world, Camp Chaos is a timely and erotic document of how millennials process and understand the sex they have, are having, and will have. In this episode, Matthew recalls a tumultuous encounter in Hawaii, recalling the particular tricks and techniques of an ex-lover that drove him wild. He remembers the waves, the scent of sunscreen, and his lover’s supple feet, the only ingredient he’s missing is the right guy to help him piece together his memory. After an in-depth interview, Matthew meets the charming and miserable Levi Wolfe. The two have an instant, tender chemistry, sharing an intimate moment grooming their beards and jokingly discussing their sexual history before heading to bed for an intense, psychedelic encounter.
