Snow and His Boys Cole and Noah Snow: On a late Tuesday afternoon, Professor Snow and his teaching assistant Cole were left with far too many test papers to grade. The professor suggested to his young assistant that they work together at his home office, as this would offer them more quiet privacy. Just as they were getting immersed in their work, Adam's precocious son Noah popped his head into the study. Almost immediately, the boy's wide, bright smile transitioned to a shy, uncertain one. He hadn't realized there was another boy in the room with his father. Cole looked up from his papers and smiled politely while the professor greeted his son. Professor Snow asked about the status of the boy's homework. As he did, he glanced in Cole's direction, and noticed a curious look on his face, as if his assistant were studying him and his son's dynamics. Cole had never formally met Noah before, so he naturally couldn't say anything with certainty about his hunches.
